2015-01-20exec.c: Drop TARGET_HAS_ICE define and checksPeter Maydell
The TARGET_HAS_ICE #define is intended to indicate whether a target-* guest CPU implementation supports the breakpoint handling. However, all our guest CPUs have that support (the only two which do not define TARGET_HAS_ICE are unicore32 and openrisc, and in both those cases the bp support is present and the lack of the #define is just a bug). So remove the #define entirely: all new guest CPU support should include breakpoint handling as part of the basic implementation. 2013-12-09target-sh4: move features flag after CPU_COMMONBobby Bingham
Everything before CPU_COMMON in the structure is cleared as part of a CPU reset. This included the features flag, which indicates whether SH4A instructions are supported or not. As a result, a CPU reset downgraded the CPU from an SH4A to an SH4. The functions cpu_clone_regs() and cpu_set_tls() are not purely CPU related -- they are specific to the TLS ABI for a a particular OS. Move them into the linux-user/ tree where they belong. target-lm32 had entirely unused implementations, since it has no linux-user target; just drop them. 2011-03-03target-sh4: move intr_at_halt out of cpu_halted()Aurelien Jarno
All targets except SH4 have the same cpu_halted() routine, and it has only one caller. It is therefore a good candidate for inlining. The difference is the handling of the intr_at_halt, which is necessary to ignore SR.BL when sleeping. Move intr_at_halt handling out of it, by setting this variable while executing the sleep instruction, and clearing it when the CPU has been woken-up by an interrupt, whatever the state of SR.BL. 2009-08-24cleanup cpu-exec.c, part 0/N: consolidate handle_cpu_signalNathan Froyd
handle_cpu_signal is very nearly copy-paste code for each target, with a few minor variations. This patch sets up appropriate defaults for a generic handle_cpu_signal and provides overrides for particular targets that did things differently. Fixing things like the persistent (XXX: use sigsetjmp) should now become somewhat easier. Previous comments on this patch suggest that the "activate soft MMU for this block" comments refer to defunct functionality. I have removed such blocks for the appropriate targets in this patch.
