2021-02-15clock: Add ClockEvent parameter to callbacksPeter Maydell
The Clock framework allows users to specify a callback which is called after the clock's period has been updated. Some users need to also have a callback which is called before the clock period is updated. As the first step in adding support for notifying Clock users on pre-update events, add an argument to the ClockCallback to specify what event is being notified, and add an argument to the various functions for registering a callback to specify which events are of interest to that callback. Note that the documentation update renders correct the previously incorrect claim in 'Adding a new clock' that callbacks "will be explained in a following section". 2021-01-12hw/*: Use type casting for SysBusDevice in NPCM7XXHao Wu
A device shouldn't access its parent object which is QOM internal. Instead it should use type cast for this purporse. This patch fixes this issue for all NPCM7XX Devices. 2021-01-12hw/misc: Add clock converter in NPCM7XX CLK moduleHao Wu
This patch allows NPCM7XX CLK module to compute clocks that are used by other NPCM7XX modules. Add a new struct NPCM7xxClockConverterState which represents a single converter. Each clock converter in CLK module represents one converter in NPCM7XX CLK Module(PLL, SEL or Divider). Each converter takes one or more input clocks and converts them into one output clock. They form a clock hierarchy in the CLK module and are responsible for outputing clocks for various other modules in an NPCM7XX SoC. Each converter has a function pointer called "convert" which represents the unique logic for that converter. The clock contains two initialization information: ConverterInitInfo and ConverterConnectionInfo. They represent the vertices and edges in the clock diagram respectively. 2020-10-27hw/timer: Adding watchdog for NPCM7XX Timer.Hao Wu
The watchdog is part of NPCM7XX's timer module. Its behavior is controlled by the WTCR register in the timer. When enabled, the watchdog issues an interrupt signal after a pre-set amount of cycles, and issues a reset signal shortly after that. 2020-09-14hw/misc: Add NPCM7xx Clock Controller device modelHavard Skinnemoen
Enough functionality to boot the Linux kernel has been implemented. This includes: - Correct power-on reset values so the various clock rates can be accurately calculated. - Clock enables stick around when written. In addition, a best effort attempt to implement SECCNT and CNTR25M was made even though I don't think the kernel needs them.
