2013-08-06ARM: SAMSUNG: Remove unused PWM timer IRQ chip codeTomasz Figa
As the need for an IRQ chip handling PWM timer interrupt chaining is gone now, this patch removes all the code made unnecessary. 2013-06-20ARM: s5p64x0: avoid build warning for uncompress.hArnd Bergmann
Commit 5336539 "ARM: S5P64X0: Use common uncompress.h part for plat-samsung" was missing a type cast, this brings it in line with the other samsung platforms. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2013-06-19ARM: S5P64X0: Use common uncompress.h part for plat-samsungTomasz Figa
Since uart_base can be set dynamically in arch_detect_cpu(), there is no need to have a copy of all code locally, just to override UART base address. This patch removes any duplicate code in uncompress.h variant of s5p64x0 and implements proper arch_detect_cpu() function to initialize UART with SoC-specific parameters. While at it, replace hard-coded register address with macro. 2013-04-19ARM: exynos: move debug-macro.S to include/debug/Arnd Bergmann
The move is necessary to support early debug output on exynos with multiplatform configurations. This implies also moving the plat/debug-macro.S file, but we are leaving the remaining users of that file in place, to avoid adding large numbers of extra configuration options to Kconfig.debug Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>

2012-01-05ARM: restart: remove the now empty arch_reset()Russell King
Remove the now empty arch_reset() from all the mach/system.h includes, and remove its callsite. Remove arm_machine_restart() as this function no longer does anything useful. For samsung platforms, remove the include of mach/system-reset.h and plat/system-reset.h from their respective mach/system.h headers as these just define their arch_reset functions. 2011-08-12ARM: gpio: make trivial GPIOLIB implementation the defaultRussell King
Rather than marking the mach/gpio.h header files which want to use the trivial GPIOLIB implementation, mark those which do not want to use it instead. This means that by default, you get the trivial implementation and only have to do something extra if you need to. This should encourage the use of the trivial default implementation. As an additional bonus, several gpio.h header files become empty. 2011-08-12ARM: gpio: consolidate gpio_to_irqRussell King
Many of the gpio_to_irq implementations use the gpiolib version of this function. Provide the standard gpiolib gpio_to_irq() for everyone, but allow platforms to override it if they wish. Add the neccessary overrides for those platforms which do not use the standard definition. Acked-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2011-08-12ARM: gpio: consolidate trivial gpiolib implementationsRussell King
Consolidate 24 trivial gpiolib implementions out of mach/gpio.h into asm/gpio.h. This is basically the include of asm-generic/gpio.h and the definition of gpio_get_value, gpio_set_value, and gpio_cansleep as described in Documentation/gpio.txt Acked-by: H Hartley Sweeten <hsweeten@visionengravers.com> Tested-by: David Brown <davidb@codeaurora.org> Acked-by: David Brown <davidb@codeaurora.org> Tested-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Acked-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com> Tested-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
