From e9a43850e6a99e335c8120579749389b376bc204 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Haavard Skinnemoen Date: Mon, 30 Oct 2006 09:31:27 +0100 Subject: AVR32: Get rid of board_early_init board_early_init() is left over from some early prototyping work where we had to initialize the SDRAM controller ourselves. This depends on the kernel being loaded into static RAM, which just isn't possible on any commercially available products today. In order to run without a boot loader, we need to create a zImage stub or have the debugger initialize the SDRAM for us (for really low-level debugging) Signed-off-by: Haavard Skinnemoen --- arch/avr32/boards/atstk1000/setup.c | 9 --------- 1 file changed, 9 deletions(-) (limited to 'arch/avr32/boards/atstk1000/setup.c') diff --git a/arch/avr32/boards/atstk1000/setup.c b/arch/avr32/boards/atstk1000/setup.c index 191ab85de9a..272c011802a 100644 --- a/arch/avr32/boards/atstk1000/setup.c +++ b/arch/avr32/boards/atstk1000/setup.c @@ -21,15 +21,6 @@ struct tag *bootloader_tags __initdata; struct lcdc_platform_data __initdata atstk1000_fb0_data; -asmlinkage void __init board_early_init(void) -{ - extern void sdram_init(void); - -#ifdef CONFIG_LOADER_STANDALONE - sdram_init(); -#endif -} - void __init board_setup_fbmem(unsigned long fbmem_start, unsigned long fbmem_size) { -- cgit v1.2.3
