2012-03-30arm: Use common .lds file where possibleSimon Glass
Each cpu directory currently has its own .lds file. This is only needed in most cases because the start.o file is in a different subdir. Now that we can factor out this difference, we can move most cpus over to the common .lds file. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2011-03-27arm: fix incorrect monitor protection region in FLASHPo-Yu Chuang
Monitor protection region in FLASH did not cover .rel.dyn and .dynsym sections, because it uses __bss_start to compute monitor_flash_len. Use _end instead. Add _end to linker scripts for end of u-boot image Add _end_ofs to all the start.S. Signed-off-by: Po-Yu Chuang <ratbert@faraday-tech.com>
2011-03-27rename _end to __bss_end__Po-Yu Chuang
Currently, _end is used for end of BSS section. We want _end to mean end of u-boot image, so we rename _end to __bss_end__ first. Signed-off-by: Po-Yu Chuang <ratbert@faraday-tech.com>
2010-11-17ARM: fix linker file for newer ld supportAlbert Aribaud
older ld emitted all ELF relocations in input sections named .rel.dyn, whereas newer ld uses names of the form .rel*. The linker script only collected .rel.dyn input sections. Rewrite to collect all .rel* input sections. Signed-off-by: Albert Aribaud <albert.aribaud@free.fr>
2010-10-26arm1176: fix relocationDarius Augulis
Fix relocation code for arm1176, do it like other ARM CPU's are doing. Tested only with CONFIG_SKIP_RELOCATE_UBOOT defined and using nand_spl (booting from nand). Test done on s3c6410 based board (not yet supported in main line). Signed-off-by: Darius Augulis <augulis.darius@gmail.com>
2010-09-19ARM: implement relocation for arm1176Heiko Schocher
Change the implementation for arm1176 to relocate the code to an arbitrary address in RAM. Portions of this work were supported by funding from the CE Linux Forum. Signed-off-by: Heiko Schocher <hs@denx.de>
