From 1da177e4c3f41524e886b7f1b8a0c1fc7321cac2 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Linus Torvalds Date: Sat, 16 Apr 2005 15:20:36 -0700 Subject: Linux-2.6.12-rc2 Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip! --- arch/i386/mach-visws/mpparse.c | 105 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 1 file changed, 105 insertions(+) create mode 100644 arch/i386/mach-visws/mpparse.c (limited to 'arch/i386/mach-visws/mpparse.c') diff --git a/arch/i386/mach-visws/mpparse.c b/arch/i386/mach-visws/mpparse.c new file mode 100644 index 00000000000..5a22082147f --- /dev/null +++ b/arch/i386/mach-visws/mpparse.c @@ -0,0 +1,105 @@ + +#include +#include +#include + +#include +#include + +#include "cobalt.h" +#include "mach_apic.h" + +/* Have we found an MP table */ +int smp_found_config; + +/* + * Various Linux-internal data structures created from the + * MP-table. + */ +int apic_version [MAX_APICS]; + +int pic_mode; +unsigned long mp_lapic_addr; + +/* Processor that is doing the boot up */ +unsigned int boot_cpu_physical_apicid = -1U; +unsigned int boot_cpu_logical_apicid = -1U; + +/* Bitmask of physically existing CPUs */ +physid_mask_t phys_cpu_present_map; + +unsigned int __initdata maxcpus = NR_CPUS; + +/* + * The Visual Workstation is Intel MP compliant in the hardware + * sense, but it doesn't have a BIOS(-configuration table). + * No problem for Linux. + */ + +static void __init MP_processor_info (struct mpc_config_processor *m) +{ + int ver, logical_apicid; + physid_mask_t apic_cpus; + + if (!(m->mpc_cpuflag & CPU_ENABLED)) + return; + + logical_apicid = m->mpc_apicid; + printk(KERN_INFO "%sCPU #%d %ld:%ld APIC version %d\n", + m->mpc_cpuflag & CPU_BOOTPROCESSOR ?
