2012-12-19Bury the conditionals from kernel_thread/kernel_execve seriesAl Viro
All architectures have CONFIG_GENERIC_KERNEL_THREAD CONFIG_GENERIC_KERNEL_EXECVE __ARCH_WANT_SYS_EXECVE None of them have __ARCH_WANT_KERNEL_EXECVE and there are only two callers of kernel_execve() (which is a trivial wrapper for do_execve() now) left. 2012-07-30ipc: use Kconfig options for __ARCH_WANT_[COMPAT_]IPC_PARSE_VERSIONWill Deacon
Rather than #define the options manually in the architecture code, add Kconfig options for them and select them there instead. This also allows us to select the compat IPC version parsing automatically for platforms using the old compat IPC interface.
