In order for LAVA to find its place in the boot process, a non-quiet kernel is required. This is achieved by requesting the CMDLINE to remove the quiet particle in local.conf. A few tests in LAVA do require space available for their scratch, so the resize-helper utility comes in handy. In linux-firmware, the location of venus firmware has changed from /lib/firmware to /lib/firmware/qcom/venus-1.8 , so that we can manage multiple version of Venus IP. Now we are pointing to staging due there aren't dragonboard410c v2 dut's in the main instance. The test was made manually sending a job to staging [1], currently there fastboot deployment in LAVA doesn't support non sparse images, i sent a patch adding this functionality on LAVA and by now is on review [2]. 2017-10-19zephyr-upstream: discover test list dynamicallyChase Qi
The problem of hardcoded test list is that not all tests are build for all devices. For example BT tests are not suitable on qemu. To solve the above issue, this patch generates test list by finding all the zephyr.bin files in out/${PLATFORM}/tests directory. Some of the tests don't produce usable output, they are excluded.
