2010-10-26Replace CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE by auto-generated valueWolfgang Denk
CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE has always been just a bad workarond for not being able to use "sizeof(struct global_data)" in assembler files. Recent experience has shown that manual synchronization is not reliable enough. This patch renames CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE into GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE which gets automatically generated by the asm-offsets tool. In the result, all definitions of this value can be deleted from the board config files. We have to make sure that all files that reference such data include the new <asm-offsets.h> file. No other changes have been done yet, but it is obvious that similar changes / simplifications can be done for other, related macro definitions as well. 2010-04-19ppc4xx: TLB init file cleanupStefan Roese
This patch adds new macros, with frequently used combinations of the 4xx TLB access control and storage attibutes. Additionally the 4xx init.S files are updated to make use of these new macros. Resulting in easier to read TLB definitions. Additionally some init.S files are updated to use the mmu header for the TLB defines, instead of defining their own macros. 2010-04-13Replace "#include <asm-$ARCH/$FILE>" with "#include <asm/$FILE>"Peter Tyser
The appropriate include/asm-$ARCH directory should already by symlinked to include/asm so using the whole "asm-$ARCH" path is unnecessary. This change should also allow us to move the include/asm-$ARCH directories into their appropriate lib/$ARCH/ directories. Signed-off-by: Peter Tyser <ptyser@xes-inc.com>
2008-11-21ppc4xx: Changed 460EX/GT OCM TLB and internal SRAM initializationDave Mitchell
Expanded OCM TLB to allow access to 64K OCM as well as 256K of internal SRAM. Adjusted internal SRAM initialization to match updated user manual recommendation. OCM & ISRAM are now mapped as follows: physical virtual size ISRAM 0x4_0000_0000 0xE300_0000 256k OCM 0x4_0004_0000 0xE304_0000 64k A single TLB was used for this mapping. 2008-10-21ppc4xx: Add AMCC Arches board support (dual 460GT)Adam Graham
The Arches Evaluation board is based on the AMCC 460GT SoC chip. This board is a dual processor board with each processor providing independent resources for Rapid IO, Gigabit Ethernet, and serial communications. Each 460GT has it's own 512MB DDR2 memory, 32MB NOR FLASH, UART, EEPROM and temperature sensor, along with a shared debug port. The two 460GT's will communicate with each other via shared memory, Gigabit Ethernet and x1 PCI-Express. 2008-03-15ppc4xx: Add USB OHCI support to AMCC Canyonlands 460EX eval boardStefan Roese
This patch adds USB OHCI support to the Canyonlands board port. It also enables EXT2 support. Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>
2008-03-15ppc4xx: Add Canyonlands NAND booting supportStefan Roese
460EX doesn't support a fixed bootstrap option to boot from 512 byte page NAND devices. The only bootstrap option for NAND booting is option F for 2k page devices. So to boot from a 512 bype page device, the I2C bootstrap EEPROM needs to be programmed accordingly. This patch adds basic NAND booting support for the AMCC Canyonlands aval board and also adds support to the "bootstrap" command, to enable NAND booting I2C setting. Tested with 512 byte page NAND device (32MByte) on Canyonlands. Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>
